Welcome to Pam’s virtual kitchen! What can you expect to find here? Information, news, recipes, instructions, photos, personal stories, and the occasional rant … all related to food. Lots of topics are fair game:
- Whole-food ingredients
- Traditionally prepared (WAPF*-style) foods
- Fermented foods
- Ethnic cuisine
- Organic gardening and farming
- Local farms and other food producers
- Grass-fed and pastured meats
- Food as medicine
- Raw foods
- Superfoods
- Environmentally friendly practices
You won’t find any fried Twinkies or Cool Whip desserts here. Instead, you’ll find something a lot more natural simmering on the stove, drying in the dehydrator, or chilling in the fridge. Any which way, it’s all good. What’s “good for you” can taste good, too!
- simply (adj.) Easily, frugally, and/or without excessive labor or stress.
- good (adj.) Healthy for you, fair for the producers, and friendly to the environment; delicious and satisfying.
- food (n.) Ingredients with no chemical additives, no artificial components, no fancy processing.
- Simply Good Food (n.) Tasty bites that nourish body and soul.
